Indoor 26/27 Season Update
SC Central is back for the Indoor 26/27 season and we're looking forward to growth for our club and for our players.
Evaluations
Evaluations will take place August 31st-September 4th. Each age group will have 2 evening sessions. Registration links will be posted in the coming weeks
Boys Program
Evaluations will be held for U10-U17 boys teams for the Indoor season. Please note U12-U17 teams will be enrolled in the Edmonton Minor Soccer Association (EMSA) league and play regular games in Edmonton. Younger teams will be enrolled in CASA and play locally.
Girls Program
We are excited to be holding evaluations for U9-U13 girls this season! U12-U13 teams will be enrolled in EMSA and younger teams will be in CASA. We look forward to receiving coaching support from the RDP Queen's soccer team this season.
Facility Update
The Dome Red Deer sustained damage in May but will be fully repaired and operational before winter. Our season will begin with outdoor field time but as soon as the Dome is ready for us we look forward to being back inside our home base (and leaving the bugs, smoke, and rain outdoors!)
NEW This Season
This season, U9-U12 teams will participate in weekly Futsal training sessions to promote increased technical development. We're excited to offer this enhanced programming and more opportunities for young players to participate in Futsal in the future!
Each player registered in SC Central this season will receive baseline concussion testing through Function First at the Dome. We are grateful to Function First for providing this valuable service that will help our players protect their health and inform treatment plans in case of suspected concussions.
